Meet Steven, the Smile Creator!

Hey there, I’m Steven Smiley.  I’m a veteran, a husband of 11 years, and a photographer based right here in Lonaconing, Maryland. Living in Western Maryland, surrounded by these mountains and our community, shapes how I see the world. This town has a distinct character, and my goal is to capture the honest spirit of the people who live here.

My life is built on service, commitment, and family. Sharing over a decade of marriage with my husband has taught me about connection, trust, and why saving our life stories matters. When you step in front of my lens, you are getting a neighbor who wants you to feel comfortable and valued exactly as you are.

I photograph a little bit of everything—from local weddings to family milestones—but I also focus on boudoir photography. I shoot boudoir because it is a direct way to help people step out of their comfort zones, build confidence, and see themselves in a new light.

At the end of the day, I want to freeze the moments that will make you look back years from now and smile.
